Giving glory to God, because these past weeks have been very hard. I’ve had a lot of obstacles to overcome, but I give glory to God because am stronger and healthier. Also saying a big thank you to my mother, as she’s been a wonder mother to me, through these hard times and I couldn’t have overcome these obstacles without her. Thanks mummy, love so much.

Wow, Artists are not having it anymore. Promoters are in the hot seat right now. Even though am not one to judge or quickly come to a conclusion; as I believe it’s best to listen to both side of the story. But when a situation repeats itself more than once, one starts to wonder.

True say business is business, but it’s also sad to see that the passion and motive for performing is now based on money, and if artists don’t get paid; they don’t perform even at last minute. Knowing that their fans paid and waited in line for hours, I would think that their fans would motivate them to perform, regardless of bad promoters. As fans come first!

Nevertheless, Artist shouldn’t be cheated out of their own rights, as they work hard in entertaining us and have in no doubt made Afro- music a well-known genre. So for this reason, promoters really need to get their acts together and stop bringing negativity between artists and their fans.

JJC and Timaya have put together a freestyle soundtrack, letting promoters know exactly how they feel. This obviously gives artist an opportunity to say their side of the story.

It’s hard to say who’s wrong and who’s right, but hopefully this whole mess will stop and allow us to just enjoy the MUSIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Tilla Man…… (Say No More)

Who doesn’t know TillaMan, even if you don’t know; you could recognise that voice anywhere. He’s a very talent artist.

Fori Fori is the new song from the main man himself. This song gives me different emotions; it’s sexy, fun, dancehall and will keep you dancing hard.

You just know it’s going to be a big club hit, dj’s will be spinning on it non-stop. Tilla Man just keeps proving himself every time, showing us how talented he is. He really did he’s thing in this video, and so did the ladies.

He’s main lady in the video goes by the name of Lola Jones, who was winner of Miss Nigeria 2007. She did her thing in this video and she looked good. So did the other ladies in the video.

The video has various artists showing love and support such as Mo Eazy, the whole 166 Family and various others. You can see everyone came out to support Tilla in this video. Location was no other than D’Eclipse; I guess the concept of the video was based on a club scene.

Overall, TillaMan hasn’t given us he’s best yet, as am sure there’s more to come from him. The only thing I would like to see from him is the hope that he’s next video will be different from the club scene aspect, as I believe he’s gone past that stage and there should be more drama and theatrical aspect incorporated.

Fresh New Act.

New collaboration from 3 guys who go by the name Nizzy, Kome and Pechstylz are bringing you a fresh new sound, but still with Afro-soul. The song is very catching and am sure the ladies will love it.

It’s a song that complements the ladies, which I know gives the guys an advantage already.

The video concept is simple; however it works well with the song. The girls in the video were well dressed and looked the part; you can tell they obviously had fun while making the video, as the guys were really showing off their dance moves.

An individual that grabbed my attention is Kome. I truly believe he’s someone to look out for, as he has a soulful voice; and I believe it could brand him as an artist.

Overall, the 3 guys have done a good job with this song. But would advise them to keep going and not relax; as there are so many artists out there now. So their next project has to have something unique that will keep us the viewers interested.

I recently went to my best friend’s carnival after party, to be honest at first it was very boring and kinda empty. But for some reason, me and the girls made the most of the night. After a while, people started to turn up, and the atmosphere got better.

I was watching a movie today (Games men play), and I learnt a very important lesson about relationship. why are men never satisfied with their woman, this applies to married men aswell. The question at hand is why? My friend made a statement yesterday ” there is never a smoke, without fire”.

This goes to show that mens cheating games shouldnt be blamed on the devil!!!!! However its fair to say some men at times are persuaded into their wrong doings, also the downside of their relationship leads them into another woman’s hand.

But in reality no matter what any couple are going through, this is no reason for them to cheat. The best way is to talk about their problems with their partner, and only their partner; not outsiders e.g (FRIENDS) as friends at times are the ones who give out bad advice and have caused the break up of many couples to date.

Just to make thing clear, am not one to force couples together, I believe in good communication in a relationship. Couples should be able to talk to each other about anything, this way problems that may arise within the relationship, can get sorted by the couples and only the couples………. “Fine; parents, pastors, therapy consultants” are good to seek advice from, but only them can be the next step if couples find it hard to sort things out themselves.

But, once neither of these options work out for the couples. I truly believe separation is the next best thing, it’s better to be apart for a while or on a permanent basis. Rather than cheat!!!!!!!!!!! It’s better to respect you partner, by letting them go, instead of cheating on them.

6 Months Later………….

It feels good writing again; it’s been 6months since I last wrote on my blog. So it only felt right to start it up again. You would expect the last 6 months to be packed with so much events and activities, well you’re quite right. The last 6 months has been a rollercoaster, since moving back to London after leaving Luton, I’ve met some interesting people. Am currently in a new relationship and a blessed one at that, but the only difference with this relationship is the fact that have kept our relationship very private. I see this as the only way to avoid things going wrong, and getting hurt. Apart from my new relationship, I’ve started at a new university; I felt the need to change my course and place of study. The new course is Event Management, and I know it’s going to be very exciting. With all this said i believe the rest of the year will go by smoothly and peacefully.

Celebrity wise, Kim kardashian is so on point, I love her to bits. Yes!!! She may have made some mistakes in the past, but who doesn’t, and who are we to judge her… except for God.
But anyway, she’s someone I look at for inspiration fashion wise. She’s able to get away with anything, and that’s what makes her stand out to me. There’s something in her, I see in myself fashion wise, plus the fact we both have big bums. Lol lol

28^th February 2009…

So how did my night go…. Well. Lol. Very well. Got home around 3.45 am this Saturday morning…

I wont lie I was kinda scared when the guys “Robert and Seun” came to pick me up, since I’ve never had the pleasure of meeting them before. But they were actually very nice. They proper took care of me, for the whole time I was in their care. I say that because my mum told them they had to look after me, so embarrassing, but I love every annoying and embarrassing thing my mum does lol. Love you mummy.

But anyway they got me drinks, food, great company, great conversation. (Hold on, don’t you think at times, we have good conversation, with people we’ve never met before. There’s just so much to talk about).

My outfit was very simple, but it stood out, I wore a short skirt and no sleeve top, with a black waist belt, my new look Gladiators heels, some accessories and my gold clutch bag. I felt very comfortable to dance and mingle around.

But anywho, lol. I had fun. Sorry guys I didn’t take any pictures. It was to packed to even stand up straight, but apart from that the DJ was on point; I even saw my friend at the house party, Remi. First thing I asked him was, what are you doing here? Lol

As for Robert and Seun, it was very nice to meet them both, we exchanged contacts and we’ll keep in touch. We’re actually planning on going out to a rave together, very soon. I’ll keep you posted on that.

In addition, my journey to Luton by car wasn’t as bad as I thought, very smooth on my way there, and on my way back. Since I slept on our way back home. Lol. I was knocked out from all the dancing to Afro Beats. Lol. lol.

All in all, it was a great day, had so much fun…….

Next stop Surrey, here I come.
